Our amazing readers let us know which restaurants they LOVE and wish had better plant-based options.

We check out their menu and come up with 3 plant-based menu options that they could include, using ingredients that they already source for other menu items.

We give them a very friendly, casual phone call or email (no angry vegans here, just foodies) and ask if they’re interested in working with us AT NO COST to include these options.

They add the menu items at no cost to them, the restaurants are happy, the people are happy, the animals are happy, the planet is happy…. you get it. Lots of happiness going on 🤟

Our biggest pet peeve is when people equate plant-based food with the saddest salad anyone has ever seen. C&C recipes are hearty, satisfying, keep you full, and are freaking delicious to eat.

Elevated & inspired

Second to the sad salad, we hate when plant-based meals are sauce-less, crunch-less, and fun-less. C&C recipes aim to be restaurant quality, meaning they taste awesome and look awesome.

EXTREMELY SIMPLE TO COOK

Every C&C recipe takes less than 30 minutes of active cooking, and we prioritize semi-homemade recipe ideas where possible. We also teach our corks and cashews (you wonderful people reading this) how to cook effortlessly on our resources page.

FULL OF GOOD STUFF

We focus on recipes that include at least one plant-based protein source, and are primarily made with minimally processed ingredients. Life’s all about balance, but we’re trynna be here for a good time and a long time.
